It is important to know the origin of things, especially when we are involved or impacted by them.

Knowing our roots well gives us clarity of who we are and where we want to go, in addition to making us feel safe and proud of the process.

Your lineage: Hélio Gracie -> Royler Gracie and Rolker Gracie -> Ricardo Falcão -> David Coelho -> You!

Hélio Gracie was one of the fathers of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, also known as Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Helio changed the martial arts world since then.

Rolker Gracie and Royler Gracie learnt under their father Hélio. Like their other famous brothers they started Jiu Jitsu in their childhood. And today they are at the head of Gracie Humaita, the most traditional Jiu Jitsu school in the world.

Ricardo Falcão is Rolker and Royler black belt. Falcão is head coach of Gracie Humaita Centro, in Rio de Janeiro, where he has produced lot of other black belts in Jiu Jitsu.

David Coelho received his black belt in 2020, at Gracie Humaita School, by the hands of Ricardo Falcão.
